1995 E300D Wiring Harness compatibility?

HI there, I have a 1995 E300 diesel with a terrible wiring harness. There's a guy close to me with a 1996 E300 Diesel he's stripping for parts and I was wondering if the 1996 wiring harness would work with the 1995 E300 since they both use the 606 engine. I was also thinking of buying a used glow plug relay and an OVP relay off of him while I'm there. I can find the part number for the wiring harness in 1995 but I can't find it for 1996.

It's unlikely you can use much of the harness since the '95 has mechanical throttle and the '96 has throttle-by-wire. Module connectors will be different. I think early '96s if not all '96s use the same glow relay. Do the connectors look the same?

1995 W124 and 1996 W210 use the same pre-glow relay.

Thanks for your help. I'll go out there and get the relays off of him then.
