Toolkit Tools
Yes i can .
My Coupe's heater is kaput so it's buried in the garage behind SWMBO's 240D right now , please remind me and I'll dig it out and snap a photo . So far I've never been able to make the Mercedes Electronic Parts Catalog work on any computer and The Classic Center says tool are not listed in it anyways so good luck finding one , I keep an eye out for this and other useful tools like the wheel alignment pins , those are really handy , I only get a flat every 5 ~ 10 years so have used this tool but once but it was very nice . As I travel long distances (days of road trips) I also carry the voltage regulator/brush holder as you never know when it's going to stop charging until the damn thing doesn't start , why have a charge indicator light that's useless ? . I think I'm about to begin replacing the brushes in original BOSCH regulators as they're $4 / set Vs. $30 for the whole regulator and yes , it makes a HUGE difference what brand it is .

Something to consider for longer trips. A roll of wire ( 14 to 12 G ) and wire nuts. Yes house wiring wire nuts, these make for rapid repairs out on the road. When you get back home then you can use heat shrink crimp connectors.

I have had a hard time lining up the lug bolt holes to rotor (w/cast wheels). I have a piece of a fiberglass antenna (does not screw up threads) about 18" long goes through lug nut hole & into threaded hole on rotor, you can see what you are doing, now lift it up & slide wheel to rotor, pivot tire & install 1st lug nut, piece o' cake, takes up next to no space.
-c- (Dont get a lot of flats, but its worth having, especially a nite-time flat.)

Interesting comments about having a way to call for assistance. I agree with having a cell phone for times when you need a tool you don't have in the trunk, but waiting an hour for someone to come do a job I could have done in 15 minutes, would drive me nuts.

Not such an issue in a warm climate like Florida, but blankets, a candle and a butane lighter.
Cellphone charger. And I second the tire pump, although I'm partial to the foot-powered variety. Seems the spare is always flat when you need it.

The spare tire alignment tool looks like this.
I looked on Pelican parts and didn`t see it. Lug Bolt Guide Tool | Install your wheels easier with this tool Charlie

Yep! My 85 came with one and once I learned what it was for I was very glad that I had it. So simple yet so valuable.

Remember, if you have a steel rim spare for your car equipped with Bundts, the steel rim spare lug bolts are a different length!

I have never seen a 23mm Mercedes wrench, the largest I have seen is a 19mm then some 32mm MB marked wrenches from trucks, along with MB 36mm wrenches.
