Anything non standard must be declared so things like tinting, small body mods, mirrors etc, there are a few companies out there that specialise in modified cars or indeed those for track days/race cars etc. I just find it amazing when I just see you guys over in the US just go out and buy a part and just bolt it on. I actually have most of the parts I need for my E300 sleeper build including the GT45 turbo, meth injection etc but am just waiting for this year's insurance to run out so that I can sort out a quote for a modified car instead. Luckily the company I have found is happy with any mod, I even asked if there was a limit to the power level and they said that it would be fine with whatever it made - which is good when planning to run at 3 bar lol.
