1981 300SD Diesel Return Hose
Good morning all.
Just wanted to make sure I am looking for the correct hose in this matter. I think it's a return hose. It should be the 3.2 x 7.0 mm, cloth covered. 1981 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Base Sedan - Fuel System - Page 2 Last edited by El Ted; 06-16-2016 at 11:14 AM.

Yup, that's the one.
Do yourself a favor. Buy 2 meters of the hose. 1 meter WILL do it but you have a tiny amount of error allowed.

Yes. Thank you. That issue comes around every few years.
I smelled it the last couple of days, but it took a puddle under the car w/ running engine, for me to figure what it was. Luckily, I found 3 left over snipets in my onboard tool box, long enough to replace the leaky culprit and drive home safely.
