bosch wiper inserts

hi folks, after years of resenting having to buy whole blades i found some 20" bosch wiper inserts here at the pelican. there are "thick" and "thin" versions. great! but, somewhat obviously in retrospect, i don't have the original blades which take these inserts.

i would love to buy nice wiper blades which would take inserts. will modern bosch blades, or any others, take these inserts, or any others?

I have a new 20 inch PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blade in storage from my emergency spare parts stash from my very first MB.

They are exceptional wiper blades.

I currently use a pair of 16 inch ones for the front windshield and a 13 inch one for the rear hatch on 'Grasshopper' my 79 245 DL Volvo station wagon.

My first MB was an 83 W123 300D Turbo Diesel named the 'Dirty Snowball' due to her cracked white paint.

She had engine failure (spun a rod or two) July 2, 2011 just before the Rest Area before Sparks, NV, and was replaced by 'Rena' an 82 W126 300SD from Reno July 8, 2011.

'Rena' was rear-ended on the commute to work, on I-880 in Oakland and she donated her motor to 'Rena 2.0' my current 83 W126 300SD.

I can't use this new wiper on any of my other cars.:(

'Rena 2.0' takes 22 inch blades and 'Desert Rose' takes an 18 inch blade on the right and a 19 inch blade on the left.

The new blade is free to you, if you want it. :D Actually, I should call it NOS as it was purchased on 2/29/2008.
