84 123 CD no floor heat

Brrrrr, this season I found out there is no air blowing to the floor vents. All others work fine, plenty of heat.

Any ideas?

Vacuum pod or changeover valve. You can use a vacuum tester to see if the pod holds vacuum or move a changeover valve and see if the problem follows.

The climate section of the manual was posted here several times (for 1983, but works). It details how the ~5 electric vacuum valves behind the push-button switch are supposed to actuate in the various cooling modes. Don't be confused that the manual terms each valve a "code", probably a translation issue. To change "mode" (heating vs cooling), you need to change the temperature setting on the blue-wht-red rotary wheel and/or push the defrost button.

Thanks guys, I was thinking changeover valve was the culprit.

I do have an FSM, just too cold to pull the dash, or do much of anything, just trying to get a handle on this issue.
