How long are you running it when it dies ?

How long till it will start again ?

When it was last started it only ran for 5 minstrel maybe. I came back the next day to add start it again and nothing.
I usually play with the car on the weekends. Once I get it running it will be my every day driver .

That can mean you have the valves too tight..
once they warm up you lose compression..
re check your valve settings .. the 100 psi is another reason for that re do....
and set the ip...

When you get a chance put your location into the upper right part of your posts.. helps sometimes.. how cold is it there now ? where ever you are....

I am in kentucky, 68 outside today. I think I will try some of these ideas and get back on tomorrow with results. Thank you all

leathermang 02-27-2016 06:56 PM

Good idea... one at a time and test.....

Takes two people usually. Give it a glow cycle and spray some wd 40 down the intake throat while cranking. See if it will run. Is there a chance you got some really bad fuel?

eggsandtoast 02-28-2016 09:40 PM

Fixed

leathermang 02-28-2016 10:41 PM

You had run out of fuel !!!! Operator error.....
that is the indication by you not telling us what fixed it.....

I poured oil in the each cylinder to help build compression. It started right up

tyl604 02-29-2016 12:52 PM

Oil? What is it doing now? Did you recheck the compression now that it is running?

barry12345 02-29-2016 03:31 PM

This engine ever run on waste vegetable oil? Sounds like the rings were/are gummed up. Soaking the cylinders in miracle mystery oil sometimes helps to loosen up the rings.
