603 #17 head at Newark CA PnP 27 Feb 2016

There's a '91 350SD at the Newark, CA PnP. IP and vacuum pump are gone but #17 head, injectors and injector lines were there as of noon today (see thread subject for date).

There's also an '81 280SE from which someone pulled a 4sp MT and 3.46. Clutch pedal is still there. Guide rod mounts look new but I isn't see a brand. No bumpers and someone took the DOT headlamps. Crank windows, power sunroof.

There's also a 123 230CE AT. I didn't notice if it has SLS.

I relieved an immaculate '87 420SEL of its newish Bilsteins (I hope they're comforts) and newish MB brand suspension bits. It still has newish slotted rotors. Blue dash is spotless but some idiot vandalized the otherwise concours wood.

If you get the head, I'll send you $350 plus pop cost and shipping... lines and injectors too.

How similar is the '91 350SDL to a '92 300SD?? interior trim, door panels, oil cooler/lines, fan clutch, suspension??

Looking at pics online now and searching...

Engine is pretty similar. Body isn't in the least. Fan isn't on the engine. I don't know about oil cooler/line compatibility but I doubt it.

There are a number of W140 bodies in the same yard so interior bits for a '92 SD abound. Only a handful on interior bits are unique to Diesel models.

Clutch pedal is no longer in the 280se, don't waste your time. I considered pulling the #17 for the hellofit but having seen it done I blew it off, hard lines at hacked.
