Meeting Forum Members

It looks like there are quite a few NC and SC members active on the forum. Are there ever any gatherings? It would be fun to see meet up and see everyones cars one weekend.

I think that's a great idea. Are you volunteering to head it up? Depending on schedule I'll be there! (Lots of doctor appointments these days.....) I'll be driving a Diesel though not a Benz.

I'm kind of lucky...get to meet forum members from both the MB Diesel community [i]and[/] the 107 community. Had opportunities to meet many more, but schedules didn't work out - mostly me having to get somewhere quick on one of my cross country jaunts.

The last 2 years we had a meet up at Midlands Bio Fuels in Winnsboro, SC.

I got to meet Kar-Tek today. Great guy. We did the nickle tour of The Shop then went out for Indian food - good grub! He had limited time to hang out and I hope he can come back and stay a while.

He evidently did his magic on the A/V stuff at UNCW.

I used to travel a lot, and I really wish I had time nowadays... I used to head out to GA, TX, MI, IL, Delaware, NY, etc... at the drop of a hat... now I'm always working, no time to get ahead of the bills... (two girls are EXPENSIVE to raise) but even so, I've met a lot of you great members.

Mach4, and Whunter are the two furthest from me members I've met I think. (correct me if I'm wrong everybody who've met me)
between the MB Diesel's and the GM Diesel community I've met a LOT of members!
I'm ALWAYS looking forward to meeting you guys and girls! I've driven a few hundred miles to assist DD members in need too. I remember one guy having a HELL of a time with an alternator on a SDL and I tossed a bunch of parts, and tools in the car, and got him going...

always fun.

My MASSIVE collection of parts cars, and projects tends to attract members to my area!

Being the organizer of several drives/cruises in So Cal, I have met a countless number of members. I could try to make a list, but it would take a while and would be long. I have to say that they are all great people, and I am fortunate to have met them.....Rich

I've met a bunch of members from multiple Benz forums. I have enjoyed meeting every single person and found in most cases our similarities don't end with the Benz.

I'm hosting the 9th Annual Southeast PA Benzfest this August 20.

Had quite a few members meet up over the years. Always enjoy it. Had a mercedes drive in 4-5 years ago in ATL that was a lot of fun, need to do something like that again.
