Inside Rearview mirror Sheet Metal Screw Size

This is for a 1983 300D. Does anybody know the size and diameter of the sheet metal screws used to hold the base on?? The base is the part that the mirror actually snaps on. I have searched the internet far and wide and there is nothing about the size sheet metal screw. I have the part number obviously, but I can get the screws locally if I could just have a size My car didn't come with any screws or anything and I finally just got the base and mirror. I need it!

Those 3 screws part number 007982 003236 should be readily available at a wrecker. They were used in quite a few common models including W201, 123, 124 and 126.

Thanks for the reply Rick, I found a tiny piece of screw that was up in there and matched it to some screws. Insane that nobody knew what the size was, having a part number is great and all, but some of us don't have wrecker's close to us...
