I'm sure it has the original engine.

Can't you just run a tap thru the holes? I did, though didn't seem like anything needed cleaning. A large Harbor Freight metric tap set on sale costs less than that one reamer.

You're not cleaning the threads, you're reaming the carbon out of the chamber where the tip of the glow plug sits. This is smaller than the diameter of the area where the threads are, so a tap wouldn't go far enough.
