Coolant flow through monovalve
Anyone know which direction the coolant flows through monovalve? I want to replace it with the rig like jaybutter did but I want to make sure I have the flow set up correctly. These valves only seal tight in one direction. Just confirming before I set out to do this job.
I guess the question could be answered another way just by knowing if the aux water pump sucks from the engine or pushes coolant into the engine block. See the last post on this page for jaybutter's rig 83 300D, no heat at highway speed Thanks! Jim |

It pumps from the engine to the heater core.

Pretty sure the Auxiliary pump feeds the monovalve.
Also, quite certain the monovalve precedes the heater core on that same path. EDIT : This is likely wrong. heater core is supplied from the head. I can't recall the routing other than that Last edited by jt20; 05-26-2016 at 12:15 PM. |
