AC Condenser 87 190D 2.5 Turbo HELP !

1987 190D 2.5 Turbo Guys I have run out of ideas on finding a condenser for my 2.5 Turbo. NOWHERE on the internet can provide this condenser. I've even called local Atlanta Mercedes dealers and the part is no longer available.Gasoline 190s.....no problem. Even a NA 190D....no problem. Add the Turbo....big problem. I'm to the point of reconfiguring the twin aux fans to the single fan setup on the gas 190s. Is that possible ? The condenser on the Turbo is unique because of all the mounting tabs for the twin aux fans. Anybody got any ideas ? I've tried to find a donor car with a used condenser but no luck there either. I'm sweating this out in Hot Lanta !!

vstech, That is odd that your Turbos don't have cooling fans. I don't think my car has been altered. I also own a 1990 300D 2.5 Turbo and it has twin fans. Different style though. Parts Geek has a 190D condenser but the fittings where the hoses connect are configured different. I would have to have custom hoses made to adapt to this condenser.

No, not really that odd... Both my turbos were nigh Junkers when I got em. Both my condensers appear intact, and I see what you are talking about... There are four fan mount ears built into the condenser... The stock fans must be small. Can you take a pic of yours?

I ran into the same problem last summer with my 190D turbo.
Ultimately I hung the n/a 2.5 condenser up front by zip ties and had to bend the connections a bit to get the line fittings threaded.
I used an aftermarket 12" on the pass side and a 10" on the drivers side.
Honestly I regret it, I intend to install a ~22"x14" parallel flow condenser soon, but that will require hybridization of my high side lines but I feel that from what I read, it will be worth it.
My vent temps were downright chilly before it got so hot here(90 F)

I don't know if it runs through all models, but I bought a condenser for my 86 300 sdl and it was not correct. What it took was one from a 85 300sd, IIRC and there were no modifications to my car. The only way I found it was to google "Mercedes ac condenser" in google images and I went through them until I came across the right one. You might want to try that...Mark Edit: I just checked and corrected the part that fit...

This is my all original 190DT with the skins off (avert your eyes if you don't want to see a naked benz). A 134 conversion was done many years ago, and it works just fine with the serpentine condenser:
