OM603 ALDA Rod

I took of my alda to adjust it but the adjustments did not seem to have any effect at all, and then the car drove exactly the same even with the alda off. After further investigation I found this was because the rod that the alda presses downward was stuck in the down position, I had to use pliers to pull it back up. After I pulled it up the car accelerated better than I have ever felt before, with the alda off. What is causing this rod to stick and can it be fixed easily?

Hmm. You might try a smidge of grease on it.

Ive tried some grease and carb cleaner on it, its still quite stuck. I cant even pull it up by hand, I have to use pliers.

I ended up removing the c-clip that goes onto the rod, after that I was able to get it to move freely. Then I tested the alda and it is not holding a vacuum. Where can I get a replacement or rebuild kit?
