CVJ Axles
Has anyone needed to have their W123 axles rebuilt lately and used CVJ in Denver? I know a few years ago they were the best but haven't heard anything lately. The 240D is currently getting the rear suspension rebuilt and I figured I might as well replace them"while I'm in there"

I had them re-do a set of front axles for my 90 300TE 4-matic. The quality is as good as ever.

I think part of the reason that the CVJ Axles are not mentioned as often is simply that the People that a lot of People have had ripped Boot issues that could be fixed by only replacing the Boot.
And, since I joined the forum in 2007 a lot of information and expermentation on installing new Boots has been well hammered out and posted on the Forum. That made it possible for more people to replace their Boots.

Got a set from CVJ 8 months ago and no problems so far.
Since the cores are factory axles the quality should be better than the Chinese brands. |

Before I even knew how the Boots could be replaced I bouth Cardone reuilt Axles. They are also the original Axle rebuilt but unfotunately I think it was the stock type Boots started cracking (but not leaking) after 5 years.
I rebotted them and have had no issues so far with the Boots.
