rear exhaust differences between w123 and w126?

Does anyone know of any differences between the rear mufflers off a 123 vs. 126? I need a replacement to sell my car and found a used one off a 126. will it work?

Dunno. They're similar but not the same. The 123 muff might work on the 126 and vice versa not sure. I think the 126 may be longer and discharges to the side like a 123 wagon. I have a nice on off a 123 wagon iirc. I'll let it go cheaply but I am not 100% sure it will work on a sedan.
