Well, she finally rolled around to the quarter of a million miles mark! To celebrate the occasion this week I installed new engine mounts, new transmission mount, new forward flex disc, new trans modulator cap, new IP gasket set, new tires, new AC compressor, new expansion valve, new rec/dryer, (new evaporator last year), and of course it all coincided with the time for its 5k mile oil change.

I've owned this car for just a few weeks past one year. It had 224k on the odometer and was a sick puppy. Here are some links to work I've done in the past year.

Has head gasket been replaced yet? Went at 243k on my 92. Hopefully you'll fare better than I did.

I'm hoping that I'll get many more miles out of it before I have to cross that bridge. I replaced the HG in my '95 E300 OM606 and that was not too difficult so I'm think this OM602 will be even easier.

I've owned one OM603 3.5 liter (rod bender) recently and had pretty decent service out of it. I'm probable going to pick up another one on Saturday if the man can find the title. '93 SD, 171k. I love these MB diesels.
