How do you like that kit on the SD? I just added some padded clamps and some super thick heatshrink on mine to try to prevent the hoses from rubbing through. Probably not necessary but I cant imagine it hurting.

I have not been under a Diesel W123 in a while, I seem to recall the hose routing pretty different than the W126 SD. I had to make a 90° pipe adapter from a few steel fittings... I am crappy at brazing so I had a local shop do that for a modest sum of $5. This used my existing high side out hose with no quirks. Klima normally includes this, but were out of stock at the time. No big deal.
The liquid line out was a No 6 for me and pretty short, fitment was aokay. I do prefer using reduced barrier hose now that I have used it on a few other vehicles. If I had a 'do over' I would have done my suction and discharge lines to the compressor in that to make installation/routing a tad easier.
My hose crimper is the Mastercool manual unit. Runs about $150 on Amazon. Awesome tool, even if you have to use it once and sell it off for $100.
I went with the PF as I could not find a good, used '85 SD or '86/87 SDL condenser to save my life. Car uses R12 and the Klimakit Sanden kit. Putting a Sanden on the 617 is by far the best thing one can do. My 560 may or may not have a leaking condenser, if it does I will go with the same kit without thinking twice.
