X2. When all else fails, check the compression.

Shaking problem solved.....

Thanks everyone, PROBLEM SOLVED!!! I installed all new mounts again using a German brand mount. I installed all 4 mounts and left everything loose until the car was on the ground. I started the car for 10 seconds shut it off and tightened everything up, to my surprise the damn thing shook even worse. After being completely pissed I decided to start messing with it while it was running and I loosened the cross-member mount and BAM no more shaking. That damn center mount was the problem all along even though it was new. After some final tuning and idle adjustments the car runs like new. And yes it does only have 85000 miles on it... Thanks again everyone for your input and feedback.

Then you have a rare treasure that should literally last you several lifetimes. Look after it. Can you explain what you mean by all four mounts? There are only four to my knowledge. Two engine mounts and a transmission mount? What's the third? And what brand did you use? I probably need to do mine soon and I'd like to get ones that work.

Of course yes. I'd completely forgotten about that one.
