Has anyone successfully repaired a sun visor clip?

One of the visor clips on my 91 just broke. Hate the thought of spending $40 (and that's discounted!) for that stupid piece of plastic. Is it possible to JB Weld it or something in such a way that it will hold together?

Impossible to fix, I went through the whole list of glues, epoxys and adhesives with no joy. The Chinese copies on E-Bay are actually fine. For $15 a pair on E-Bay, I replaced mine and they've held up for two years so far.

There are some 3d printed clips on EBay, too. The problem is that they dont have the molded-in electrical connection for the vanity mirrors.

These contacts are sometimes flaky at best. If you really cared about vanity lighting that much, you could run a wire at the hinge side of the mirror up into the headliner. Forever be done with it.

The china ones don't have the apertures for the metal conducting clips.
