2009 E320 Bluetec Code P2031

After drive my 2009 E320 Mercedes today I got a "check engine" light.
I then stop at Autozone and they got the code P2031 which is "Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2".
I just want to know how serious is this problem and if it is a easy to fix for a guy very good DIY as I am. I never worked in this V6 engine before but I did all repairs and adjustments on my three Mercedes 300 SD and other cars that I have. I travel 54 miles everyday to go to work and I want to know if I should continue using my car with this "engine light on" for a while. Car is running normally and can feel nothing wrong while running.
Your feedback is appreciated.
Thanks

Today I had the same alarm on my dashboard and I checked at Autozone again and got the same P2031. After leaving the store the alarm went off and as another auto part store was on my way I decided to stop and ask them to check again with their scanner. Even wit the engine light off now the scanner show the the same code P2031. Now I am not sure if the light is going on/ off by itself. Need some help.
