antifreeze & trans fluid

I will be performing a cooling system and transmission fluid change this weekend. What kind of over the counter fluids are best to use in a 1982 model benz?
Thanks

MB coolant or Zerex G-05, any ATF that says Dex or Dex/Merc. I've had no trouble with Dex VI and B&M Trick Shift but I live on the wild side

Nearest MB dealer is 2 hours away. Can't make it there before i have time to work on the old girl. So i'll give the other brands a try.
Thanks

Fine for emergency.... but I suggest you mail order them... and switch to them as soon as you can after they arrive... MB really likes certain products....and for good reasons... as elaborated on in the archives...

you can buy the zerex G05 at the ford dealer too, ask for premium gold antifreeze.

for ATF any housebrand claiming dex/merc works.
