What is this supposed to be attached to?
And how much oil is supposed to usually shoot out of this? I understand (slightly) that this should attached to a T connector that feeds into the air cleaner.

You didn't say what car, but on the 617 it's supposed to connect to the ALDA and is the "banjo bolt" that's part of the standard "clean ALDA line/adjust valves/run Diesel Purge" repertoire to magically fix everything.
Not sure about oil coming out, so that makes me wonder if it's a different engine than I'm assuming, in which case disregard the above. -Rog |

Actually, a different thread reminded me of how much oil you might be getting in the intake via the valve cover vent, depending on how it's set up, so that could indeed just be oil from that.
