Gives a modern look, without the rubber-band silliness you see on some 70's Impalas. I am OK w/ original fat tires, since a nicer highway ride. I see small 90's Jap cars going slow on the freeway because they f'ed up the suspension and wheels, making their teeth rattle above 50 mph.

I think the original ' fat ' tires were what MB designed the suspension to properly work with... they should have spent more time on the springs in our 123 seats....

Yeah and as an added bonus I could now change the brakes without taking off the tires

I think that's what he meant, I was so mad when I saw what he did to my car. I think those rims look ridiculous...

I have to remove my wheels to change brakes....of course I put my pants on one leg at a time too....but John, now he is a pretty awesome mb tech. If anybody can do it it'd be him.

Yes, but I did not think him so secretive that he would keep a spectacular trick like that from his son. Jeckle and Hyde ?

Yup, and I just set the record straight.

She is a good kid, she did NOT like my attempt at improvement.

I will save them for my SD! (Assuming I can get it back running...)

I stumbled onto them at a pawn shop... How often do you run into w126 AMG Ronal rims? With GREAT tires?

Anybody know what they came on? What is the backspacing on the S55 ? These were perfect! Huge rears though...

265ZR35-18... Monsters!
