leaky Heater Core - Where is it???

Where or how do I get to the heater core on a 1978 240D Benz? I have both Hayes and Chilton's and neither show a thing on this.
I know it has to be hidden somewhere inside that consol area but how does that come apart?

Hi Benz240D,I just checked on my service CD and it looks like the heater core (heat exchanger) is in the area of the blower motor but you have to remove the console and remove the 'box' it sits in and then remove the core from the box on your workbench.Do you have auto climate control?I think it complicates the job a little anyways good luck
