I hit a milestone hope to get a badge

Well I did get there on the 3rd engine a lot of wrenching but I got there and running very so well I hope to hit a few more. I've heard that if you fill out a form and document it at an M.B. dealer they will send you a badge of honor you can mount on your radiator displaying the achievement for longativity has any one else done this?

I could get the 250,000 - IF my odometer were working.

Yes you just show up at the dealer and they submit a form and you get your award in the mail. It's a grill badge and a certificate.

250,000 km = 156 thousand miles
500,000 km = 311 thousand miles
750,000 km = 467 thousand miles
And there are rumors of special treatment if you get to 1 million miles

I have 3 MBs, my 98 E300 already has a 250k, my 87 300TD should have it but can't prove it due to the odometer failing, and my 08 ML320 is approaching the 250k mark, I am at 136k miles.

Oh I guess I have to put 11,000 more on to hit the 500km miles I probably have many more then that on the body as my odometer was not working for awhile also.

If you just show up at the dealer, the chances are they won't have a clue. Print out the form and take it in with you:

Depends on the dealer - they sent out someone to look at the odometer when I submitted my forms. It's a very nice touch.

The dealer I took my 190D to for the 500K km had a guy come out to inspect it but then when he saw the rust he said, "I believe you."
