Rebuilt gear box by Mercedes Steering, so far works great!

Didn't really which route to go, but decided to go with a rebuilt one from Mercedes Steering (after reading a couple of recommendations on this forum). I had my mechanic install it in my 83 CD. It seems very tight & hardly any free play in neutral (I know you need some, & it does drive great!)
Anyway thought I would mention it to you guys out there, who have the same problems. I hope it lasts for awhile, I'm sure it will. So far I'm happy!
Now I just need to get rid of the crappy Toyo tires (been a POS since new) but this will have to wait for a little while.
