coupe window run
 

good morning,

been doing door seals and scrapers.

One thing on the w123 coupe that seems to be rare is the small window run segment that is inserted in the mirror bracket.

its about 4 inches tall and consists of window run material, with a rubber end cap that fits over the top corner of the mirror bracket.

I haven't been able to source this piece anywhere.

any ideas on how to possibly get around this problem?

so far I've tried using the old piece of end-cap rubber and new window run, but its not the best solution.

let me know how you guys have done this.

Tried mb dealer and classic center. They didn't have it and couldn't get it

Even tried some parts shops in Germany.

Seems that demand was low for this item.
