Window Relay Location?

Fuse 12 powers a Multifunction relay which controls the windows. Does anyone know where this mofo is located and how difficult it is to access?

Year and model of car helps a lot. Not all of us are psychic.

Any hints on the type of vehicle? ....or just interested in a general sense of where they tend to be located?

It must be near the window I'd guess.

I suppose you could pull the door card and starting with the window motor follow the wire until you get to the relay. Or start with the switch and follow the wire the other way. Either way you'd end up at the relay.

IIRC, on the 123s, it's behind the cluster to the right of the grounding point. I think it's a silver box.

All of the windows use a single relay.

I replaced the relay. It resides behind the instrument cluster. One relay controls all the windows. Its a pain to access. There is minimal slack in the wiring and the speedo cable.

Took forever to re-hook it. I ended up disconnecting a small connector in the engine bay which held the cable secure. That was the only way to get it reconnected.
