Anyone recognize these wheels? "ARE"

I went to look at a W116 parts car and it had these rims, wonder what the quality is or if they would be anything a W116/W126 owner would b interested in. The brand is ARE which is impossible to look up on a search engine. They are 16s and I think probably 8 or 8.5 width.

I couldn't get this to resize from like 5000x2400 so here's the direct link

Thanks. It seems that all of their newer ones say "American Racing" and the older ones say "ARE"

Not a highly desirable brand, I would pass.

Although they're not the greatest looking wheels (I've seen BBS clones from the same brand that would be cool though), if the offset is right then I think you'd have no trouble at all in selling them, seeing as how the selection of wheels for some of these cars is slim.

My brother is looking at it because he had a can of spray explode in his car ruining the carpet and leaving a mess on plastic trim bits and MBtex on the rear side of the driver's seat. The car has a decent interior (same color as his), door seals, 3/4 good window regulators, aluminum trunk lid and an aluminum ACC servo but has an engine with a bad cylinder, some rust issues, and had a complete color change done (even the engine bay) but very poor prep work so the paint is peeling and cracking off. We figure we'll buy the car, take a day to strip the parts we need, pop some crappy bundts on it and a steel trunk lid and send it off to Pull-A-Part to recoup some of the cost.

I'd probably sell the wheels, though I wouldn't be expecting much. They don't seem to be highly desirable but they are supposed to be pretty good quality. I also have a set of 8.5 inch wide German-made BBS clones (I think ACT was the brand) that I am sure some W126 owner would love to have.
