Does my CDI have MB Tex, leather, or both?

The data card on my 06 CDI reads as follows:

138A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO-GRAY

Does this indicate I have some combination of MB Tex and leather? If, so where do I have the MB Tex and where do I have the leather?

In addition to simply being curious, I want to figure out how best to take care of the interior.

Without a picture it is hard to tell. If you do have leather it will be on the seating surfaces only (where your body makes contact with the seat). The backs of the seats, door panels, etc. are MB Tex.

Yes that is fairly common for high end cars these days. Expensive leather where you will be sitting on it, Tex on the secondary surfaces.

It's got leather inserts, surrounded by vinyl. Same as our late '90s E300 diesels.

However, it is possible that your CDI, if a Designo series, will be loaded up with leather in the door panels too. Tyler might shed some light on this, since he's owned a bunch of E320 CDIs.

IIRC, the standard spec 2006 has leather inserts in the front seats with tex trim, and the backseat is entirely tex. I remember this because my brother bought one new in fall of 2005 and thought that was just great for a family car where kids would use the back. BTW, he still has it.
