It is. It's T'd into the VCV feed on the BUFO, which is a fair approximation of a throttle position sensor. It's also useful for tracking problems. For example, it can be plumbed into the EGR line to check EDS function, or even used as a boost gauge. All depends on which signal you want to tap.

Ha, I didn't notice it because I have the same setup on mine...looks completely normal I use mine for boost though - just moved the needle so it reads pressure and not vacuum. I had to hook it up to a MightyVac to get the calibration correct.
