Yes, I completely forgot my friend. A lot has been going on with my health trying to deal with that and Dr's and my cars unfortunately . We will be in touch soon!

Here's the project at hand too.. I dig driving the beast. I love how heavy the steering boxes are in the w124s. It really needs a lot of suspension work, but still has that mercedes feel to it. I've never driven a w124 with a good suspension, so I hope after some shocks, springs ball joints and tie-rods it rides better

Wish I could offer you some of my space, but right now I've got it packed with pretty much every piece of my 300D spread all over, and have to make a space for my Jeep as it is since it's P/S hoses blew out and I have no car left to drive. After that I probably need to fit a parts car in. My dad rents a lot of my space from me and I'm terrible at organizing so it's a mess with my 300D restoration going on. I'd like to say I'll have my own project done soon and will have space, but honestly, the end isn't really in sight and I'm guessing it will be April by the time I'm done. Hope someone can help you out, normally I'd be a great candidate but just bad timing right now.

Hey Jake, been in this jamb a couple times, hope you find a resolution.

From experience, if you borrow a space, write down expectations, like how long it will be non-running. Because I didn't meet this expectation (wasn't clear), lost a friend.

Also, if they have children, expect damage. His boy smashed out the taillight and they are N.L.A..

I think I'm going to talk to HogWeed about bringing it up to his shop. I have a little bit more time left where I'm at. I got some parts to buy from him too. I've been in your situation without a car. Before I got the silver 98 e300 my ABS module went on my 99 and I didn't have a car or money to fix it. It was tough times. Are you in PA?

What a shame about that Adriel. Hopefully the parents paid you for the taillights. How did you lose him as a friend as something as simple as storing a car?

No, he did not, said if wasn't stored in his yard, wouldn't have happened.

Because I broke the rule, meaning, took advantage of his kindness. Now that many years have passed, he is friendly.

Actually, loose a lot of friends over what seems small things. But, the price I pay for having the gift of Autism. Honestly, rather have true friends that accept me how I am, my progress, and challenges/difficulties. These few friends are all I need.

Just hate to see a friendship end again because someone did a favor and took up a favor. What have come to realize is people need their ego stroked and feel appreciated. Such a foreign and weird concept, but working on it.

Hopefully you can work something out with Hogweed, he is a good guy! I'm in Delaware so not far from you. Fortunately I've had my dad's 95 S320 at my place for a while (it was just sitting at his and he doesn't have much room) so I can drive that to get to work ... but I really don't want to drive it in winter weather or put a lot of miles on it ... it's super low mileage and in nice shape. The annoying thing with my Jeep is they don't make the P/S lines anymore, so I can't even really take it to the dealer. I need to pull them out myself and have a shop fabricate them for me ... and it's really a pain to get them out, have to take a lot of the front off so I don't want to do it outside.
