WANT TO BUY om616 or 615 for w115

want to first say that i live in salinas, ca.

I Really need a w115 engine om616 or 615 that is running good and not damaged please let me know if you live in california, nevada or oregon. My goal is to get my 220d running by the end of January. I will travel in either state i mention above as long as its close to california.

There's a W123 240D at the Newark pick-n-pull. Engine still in it as of this morning.

OM615.912 and OM616.916 would be your bolt-in and go options. If in your shoes I'd look for the OM616.916. Installs using all the bolt-on stuff from the OM615, manifolds, etc. I did this swap into a '73 and it worked out great.
