69 220D transmission/clutch/flywheel for swap?
Would the four speed manual trans from a 69 220D as well as clutch and flywheel, etc. work for a manual swap into a W123?

I am certain the flywheel is the same since I have one here I took from a 617 that is marked 115 on its part number. I am not certain the bell housing will bolt up though.
I suspect it will bolt right in, the whole thing.

The flywheel will have to be matched to the balance/imbalance of the one originally on the engine of the 123. The length of the shift rods is different. |
