I have been using Gaskacinch (it is basically rubber cement) on these for a while (at least 6), and have not had one leak. Even with VR gaskets. I feel it is much easier than any other sealer. I follow all the cleaning steps, and spread the sealer on the cover lip with the dauber provided. After inserting the gasket on the cover, I apply the sealant on the gasket before dropping the cover on the engine. The sealer dries clear, and is easily removable the next time the cover is removed. I also use it on all coolant hoses. They slip on easier, and the sealer seals small pits in aluminum castings. The hoses are also easier removed when the time comes to do so. I will never use any kind of silicone (RTV) again, knowing how much better this product is........Rich

Why do u keep asking us where YOUR CAR is leaking oil...... But not taking the advice that's given to you???

Goto the spray and wash with some engine degreaser and clean your engine off and then chexk where the leak is coming from when its clean! Like 5 different people have told you what the solution is.

All I can see that u have done is disconnected your breather.... Which is going to cause you to lose A LOT more oil than a little leak! And I doubt it even got "blown off by the pressure" it got vibrated off by the 30 year old diesel engine, most likely...
