I may have found my shaking problem...pics included
81 mercedes 300d om617
Ok I finally got around to taking the valves out again on the top of the injection pump. All 4 of the back cylinders have the valves like the ones on the bottom. but my 1st cylinder had one like the one on top......I'm pretty sure this isn't normal as it also felt a little looser than the others. What is this from and anyone have any idea why this would be? I'm completely confused here..... heres the link to the photo https://www.amazon.com/photos/share/xtSownnEL7elBNFDsLGfPATY7nIfJJD0J62jzIrfEdk |

Well I hope so but the pictures don't show much. Also, you probably have a lot of confused readers since you started this post on the "Tech Page", and now you brought it in under the diesel section. So a lot of people might have missed your earlier posts. You could copy and paste your first post on the Tech page to this post and then they would know the basis of your problem.

I ended up putting my post in the diesel section and got a lot more feedback so I figured maybe a lot of the diesel people pay more attention to this section. The gold one is all cylinders except for the 1st one which the silver one is in. It's definitely a completely different part. Also it's actually the same diameter except the gold ones have the noticable drop down in size at the bottom. Sort of a gradual transfer I guess.
