Mercedes Pens

I've recently been playing around with some wood turning and have made some "Mercedes" pens.

This pen is a "burl wood" pen designed to match the wood interior on my diesel 380SL.

This pen is made from Zebrano, the wood found in W123 and many other MBs. I've laser engraved it with the Mercedes logotype and filled it with white enamel.

This pen, while not made from a wood used in MBs, matches color-wise pretty nicely. I've added the MB star as an "inlay".

"Mercedes Pens"

Some of them should be penned-up.

Beware of putting an MB logo on something not endorsed by them, especially if you offer them for sale to the public. You may get by with the name only. I'm not sure how they look upon such things.

I thought this thread was going to be about places to keep one's Mercedes collection. I was thinking they might wander off onto the road without a proper pen.

I'm aware of that - if I sell anything, it will be custom orders only based on customer specification....and only to someone I know.
