87 300TD wiper washer pump replacement

Just got a new washer fluid pump ($9) from Pelican. I had the washer tank out while sorting ALDA, Acceleration/Cruise Control issues. And it runs so much better! Now I'm reinstalling the washer tank with the one new pump replaced (ignoring the headlight pump). The tank is filled above the grommet, and I've reconnected the tubes (2) and plugs (3). The #2 fuse looks good, and I gave it a twist. But it's not putting out any water when I push in the wiper wand. I found a thread where Diseasal says it just plugs in and works, but mine's not. I haven't found a DIY here, I called Pelican, but got a message saying they're closed. So, does anyone know the process or tips for trouble shooting this? Thanks

Use a multimeter to test the connector. None of the three pumps work? Try the other connector, or do they both work at once? Good luck, not too much to the system.

Do you know if both need to function for one to function?

I've never seen the headlight pump work and haven't seen water around them. But the windshield pump used to work until last year.

I just got one new pump and swapped it in. I scratched up the innards of the plug, put a multimeter's jacks into the plug, and got a jump on the meter each time I pressed in the washer wand. But no water is moving through to the squirt holes. Hood was up, and I'd tried it with the hood down earlier.

As I said in the other thread you posted in:

When you push the wash switch, does the motor make any noise at all? If so, you may have a clog in the tubing or a stuck check valve. If it doesn't, you may have a faulty combination switch (stalk) or a wiring fault.

On the 126 (sorry I don't have a copy of the ETM for the 124), the pump is powered directly through the switch on the combination switch, there is no relay or anything else involved. If the wipers move when you press the wash switch, the wiring, switch, and fuse up to that point are good (the wiper relay is triggered off the wash motor power) and I'd start looking for a wiring problem.
