Removing headliner from sliding sunroof ('93 W124 E320 coupe)
I'm attempting to remove the headliner from the underside of the sunroof. So far, I've found two guides:

I don't even understand how it would work, anyway; the liner is prevented from moving downwards by the lip of the sunroof aperture on either side. Any ideas? |

The clips can be tough the first time, try a plastic trim lever. Once you get them popped free, pull the sunroof cover forward and the out the top.

Yup, there's four of them which feel like they will break (often do) before popping.
On mine (S124), roll back roof half way then put my head through, using a large flat blade get right next to each one then twist, if you cant see each one use a piece of paper to locate. Sunroof adjustment is an art form
