diesel fuel smell --help
06 cdi e320 no leak that I see . diesel fuel smell when parked after use.... seemed to be using a little more fuel.....seems the smell is coming from rear but could be mistaken only 62k mi any help??

Try to get the codes read, it'll give you a great place to start troubleshooting.

Well there are a lot of suspect areas to probe. But rule out #1 problematic leak - check fuel sending unit under the rear seat on the drivers side. NHTSA web site has lots of leak reading also if you feel inclined.

Recently on one of the other forums I read a thread where folks with W211 were having problems with fuel tank leaks. Can't remember whether it was gas, diesel, or both. Something to look into...expensive repair.
