just noticed the rubber accordion seal on my Bowden cable is torn and in bad shape.


is this a replaceable part?


car is shifting fine. although ive got the cable almost maxed out, hence the rubber portion being compressed and somewhat mangled.


is this a sign of Bowden cable replacement?


Not sure how significant the stretch factor is on these cables.


as far as I know, its the original factory cable from '83
