Bosio resonator for W123 300TD
 

Has anyone used a Bosal resonator for at W123 300TD? Mine's toast and this is whats available locally.

I have an SDL and went for the Bosal middle resonator & rear muffler to save a few bucks. Underway is sounds fine, but sitting at idle there is a fairly audible low frequency sound that travels into the cabin.

I took it to a custom exhaust shop last weekend to see if I had a leak somewhere, and if not, looking or a fix to cut the low HZ.

Result....it's the Bosal product. Limited packing materials. Owner of the shop says its that way with Bosal & there is nothing they can do to reduce the low hz other than replace with MB stock.

For the $225 I saved buying Bosal over stock resonator / muffler I wish I had bought the MB stuff.
