Anyone here rebuilt their w126 steering gearbox?
I have studied the FSM and both the famous thread on rebuilding these PS gear boxes but neither seems to show where both orings go.
Does a rubber oring go beneath the white teflon band in this photo?

Yes, o-ring goes on first, then the teflon ring. Be careful as there's two o-rings of similar sizes. One of them is in the aforementioned location, the other is for the working piston cover to housing.

One is slightly smaller than the other, that's the one that goes under the teflon ring.
