123 Calipers on a 74 w115 Will it work?

I also have frozen front calipers. I am wondering what the best option would be for repair. Does anyone know if these calipers will work on a 74 w115 240d.

Thank you for your time.

They'll bolt right on. They will give a bit more braking power and make it easier to push since the area of the piston is a little larger. I suggest new hoses too because you have to bend them differently to hook onto the 123 caliper and if they are old and stiff they'll leak soon. Use plenty of penetrating oil on the threads everywhere and take your time.

Good luck!

(The rear calipers are identical from 115 to 123.)

Can anyone else confirm? I suspected they would work just need longer break hoses. However when referencing the part number I could only find that these would work in the later 70's models. Perhaps they'll bolt right on but just need a longer brake hose, as T walg stated. So yes they will fit but they are not made for the car so I'm not seeing the part listed as if it is for my car. I just want to be 100% sure before I pull the trigger.

Confirmed. But with different positioning of the brake hose connection.
