It could be a good end to a rather diiffcult decision, after talking to the couple I felt it was best too not hold anyone else up who might want the car.Its only fair since I have my personal conditions about a car purchase that keeps my driveway clear of scrapers. In their court they had a deadline to meet to move from their current address and the sale of their car would simplify their lives. As it went on Saturday I made the trip out in the morn. to give the car a last go for start -up ,this time a had a few more tools to bring to the fair.Did a compression chk . to start , the unkown would soon be aware, pretty good results. 1 380 2 400 3 340 4 300 and 5 380.The car should start, primed for start ,no go .The weather was starting to roll in and had to pack it up for another day .I rolled out for home and expressed a good sign of hope on the cars condition ,a start was assured on the return trip .Next day was not in the cards ,would have to reschedule and made it known on what was lacking for a start-up.If another buyer did show at least they could finally have their money with a running engine. It played out that another buyer did show and had the car on a trailer ,the seller texted me back with their thanks and I replied "your welcome" .J know someone will be putting this car back on the road in the near future ,something Ive experienced a few times ,its a satisfying venture that gets in your blood .Out of all the hobbies ,I had too pick a greasey one.
