I'd probably have as many cars as you if I had land. Pics of the smoke silver/red 87 300d?

joel price 06-02-2017 08:48 PM

pics not available as car is in storage.....interested in value

Whatever the Master Desires

2006 e300 cdi black/black 62k pristine 500e wheels

That 62 K Milage is the determinant .

NADA Says:

$12,850 U.S.D.

BUT, I think that's LOW (Can't be more than 1 or 2 other CDI s with THAT LOW milage. If ANY at All!)

jake12tech 06-02-2017 10:39 PM

87 300d in pristine mechanical condition and good cosmetics. 3500 3k

NCRS judge, what does 300dtd stand for? Many listed.
PS how much for the 87 Black/Palomino 234K?

joel price 06-03-2017 08:46 AM

national corvette restorers society..........tdt is a station wagon only approx 1000 turbo diesels were sent to the usa in 87 very desireable vehicle....not pricing black pearl asking opinion of value if I decide to sell

There are a fair amount of specialized cars here. NADA / insurance valuation sites are about useless as they are just guessing. These cars are not like a 6 year old Chevy Cobalt that runs through auctions by the 10's of thousands.

The web site Bring a Trailer may be a good place to value / shift these.

joel price 06-03-2017 10:36 AM

thanks will look at bring a trailer .com

Pretty hard to have any idea of a price without detailed photos.

crazy4diesel 06-03-2017 11:24 AM

Even with photos very hard to assess condition and pricing. Sight unseen you're just looking at NADA or KBB.com to price it out.

shertex 06-03-2017 11:49 AM

On the CDI, I wouldn't pay much attention to NADA. Perfect specimens in the 150k range can be found for $8,000 or so. So, tacking on some premium for low miles, I would think something in the $11-12,000 range would be reasonable.

I got mine with 146,000 miles, perfect condition and complete records, for $8,000 almost two years ago, and the market has certainly sagged since then.

ah-kay 06-03-2017 12:08 PM

No picture no value. $0. Just look through your local CL if you want to sell, next subject.

joel price 06-03-2017 01:08 PM

thank you so much for your help ahkay...............what did you guys do in the old days before internet pics? book prices don't apply to most of these cars . I haven't asked for a signed statement as to value just an opinion from this group ....the experts.....thanks for the suggestion sl320 of bringatrailer.com. and yes i believe you are right there are some specialized or collectible cars in the group. Apparently I was wrong about the degree of expertise in this group or at least the willingness to help. I will refrain from any further comment .................next subject ahkay

Those 87 300DT wagons are worth some good money. Been watching the market for them. Upwards of 9-10K for VGC models. Beaters go for 2500.
Very desirable cars. I have a VGC 87 300D well sorted out, less than 150k miles, but it's not worth more than 4k at most. I think I'll keep it till it dies.
