W201 Brake Dust Shield
Both of my front shields crumbled when I took the calipers off today.
I can't seem to find any sources online for replacements, with the exception of a part coming in from Latvia I've found one aftermarket company (Kleen Wheels), but that seems to be a shield on the outer side, not a shield for the inner side of the rotor (stock) Any suggestions?

Go to a pick 'n pull. Lots of them there.

You can order from the forum sponsor, but the parts come from the MB dealership parts network. You may also order direct from one of the many online MB dealership part sites. 2014210920 Right backing plate w/o ABS 2014202544 Right backing plate w ABS 2014210820 Left backing plate w/o ABS 2014202444 Left backing plate w ABS Unforunately, the backing plates are usually bent. They remove the tires, and the backing plates get bent from the car resting directly on the ground before being moved in the assigned row. You'd have to find one where the wheels were not removed.

Thanks Alec. I didn't realize I could order new ones. Pretty steep at $94 / corner. May live without for a while and see.

I've been living the brake dust shield free life style for years with no negative consequences. A lot of new cars have eliminated them.

The front shields aren't really dust shields, although that's the name for them. They're air scoops, intended to cool the disks. They rusted off my 124, and I never thought twice about replacing them.
