How many miles did you get out of it like that knocking? That sounds like the straw that broke the camels back.

Another thing i noticed with this engine was that it took quite a long time for it to build oil pressure, especially after an oil change, maybe like 10 seconds after oil change and like 4-5 during a cold start. but when it finally got oil pressure it was around 1,8 bar at idle, hot. Also it had quite a bit of blowby
