Accidentally removed bolt from steering area on 560SEL; do I use loctite blue?
Last night I was tired and went to remove the right front brake caliper off the 1991 560SEL. I inadvertently removed the wrong bolt (bottom hole, photos enclosed). I've cleaned up the bolt using brake cleaner and of course need to reinstall it. Question; should I use some Loctite Blue (anti seize) on the bolt prior to installing?

It won't hurt it.

I put thread locker on pretty much everything steering and brakes related, both to keep it in place and also to keep the corrosion out.

On a normal size nut or bolt.... ( not the 2 inch nut on the back of a VW crankshaft for instance )
I use Locktite RED.... as it only adds about five foot lbs to the break loose pressure required... I have been doing this since the mid 1970's when my Harley liked to throw nuts out on the road in random places....
